Twin Beast Lord

In the world of Valhalla, a beast tamer's status is determined by the level of their contracted beast. On her awakening day at age 10, orphan Aila accidentally contracts a young white fox spirit considered "worthless," and is mocked and oppressed by the Beast Tamer Academy and the nobility. Her only friend is the similarly marginalized commoner girl Selena, who contracts a black crow. The academy's top student Lydia, contracted to the legendary golden-winged lion, constantly bullies and humiliates both of them. During a field trial, Lydia frames Aila and Selena, getting them exiled to the dangerous Shadow Forest. In desperation, the two discover an ancient stone tablet recording the secrets of the "Twin Beast Taming Arts" and the "Seven Sacred Beast Trials." Only by passing the trials can their beasts evolve into their highest forms and earn the right to challenge the continent's strongest. Aila and Selena decide to embark on the path of trials. They complete the Wind, Fire, and Water Trials one by one—the white fox spirit evolves into a Double-tailed Wind Fox, Triple-tailed Flame Fox, and Four-tailed Ice Flame Fox; the black crow evolves into a Storm Crow, Snow Crow, and Ice Snow Crow. Feeling threatened, Lydia conspires with the academy's corrupt leadership to set a trap, secretly sabotaging the magic formation during the fourth trial, leaving the white fox severely injured and the black crow unconscious. She then frames the two for stealing a sacred relic, getting them wanted. In their darkest hour, Selena's perseverance awakens Aila, and they decide to face the ultimate challenge of the fifth, sixth, and seventh trials simultaneously. At the brink of death, the white fox evolves into the Nine-tailed Celestial Fox (god-tier), and the black crow into the Three-legged Golden Bird (god-tier). Returning to the academy with their awakened divine beasts, they challenge Lydia in the Continental Beast Taming Tournament. Her golden-winged lion is no match, and all her schemes are exposed. Aila and Selena become the continent's youngest god-tier beast tamers. They reject the nobility's offers and choose to establish an academy for commoner beast tamers, helping children like themselves, and set off on a new adventure to find the legendary Tenth Sacred Beast.
