Story of the series

After the sky died, dragons became the last weapon. She's a feral scavenger with no bloodline, no name—just a white dragon and a stolen blade. A military fortress takes her in. The deal: ride the legendary dragon. Die on schedule like the forty-three riders before her. She agrees. Then the enemy burns her eyes out in her first real battle. Everyone says: she's done. Reassign the dragon. Only one man stands between her hospital bed and the soldiers sent to seize her mount—aiming his sidearm at their squad leader with a half-smile that doesn't reach his eyes. "Touch her dragon. See what happens." She lost her sight but gained the entire battlefield through the dragon's neural link.He lost his brother—the last Legendary Rider—but found in her a reason worth dying for twice. When the final enemy appears...what would happen?
