Commander’s Shoemaker Girl

Seven years ago, the Commander lost his wife and child and has mourned his wife at the church ever since. Unknown to him, his wife survived, struggling to raise their child. The child works tirelessly to pay for her mother’s treatment, crossing paths with the Commander by chance multiple times. A misunderstanding over a pocket watch finally reunites their fates. The truth is revealed, mother and child are saved, and reunited with the Commander. Though the mother is initially dazed, her memory gradually returns. The villainess who caused their suffering meets her comeuppance. In the end, the daughter is revealed as a lost heiress, and the family finds happiness together.
