Two superpowered women created by the secret organization Genesis—Maya, a cold-blooded assassin with the "Death Stare," and Zara, a billionaire who can make anyone fall in love with her—meet during an assassination mission. A fateful underwater kiss reveals to Maya that her powers have suddenly failed her. It turns out they are products of the same genetic engineering project, Project Cupid: one soul, two bodies. Genesis sends Maya's ex-girlfriend Vex to hunt them down, with orders to capture Zara alive to breed superpowered soldiers. To make matters worse, Zara's original prototype, Zero, emerges. Capable of copying any superpower, she vows to take back everything that belongs to her. On the run, three former enemies are forced to join forces.
