STORY

Story of the series

Medieval times. Dragons rule the continent. Lydia is forced by her family to marry the "savage" Dragon King, Lucian, in her sister's place. She flees into the night — and in a blizzard-buried cabin, she encounters a dragon-shifter whose power is spiraling out of control. To save him, she gives him her virginity... The next day, she is captured. Her secret dragon pregnancy is exposed, and she is branded an unclean sinner, dragged onto the trial platform. Meanwhile, Lucian searches for her frantically, tearing a scale from his own heart to cast a tracking spell. When the crystal ball reveals the truth — that Lydia is the woman who saved him, unintentionally carrying his heir — and with Lydia's life hanging by a thread, he descends from the sky to pull her into his arms and declare to all: she is his only bride.
