In near-future America, a global ecological crisis plummets female birth rates. To sustain population and stability, the federal law forces women aged 28+ to marry three legally defined husbands: one for housework, one for reproduction, and one for career assistance, stripping men of social dominance. Samantha, a 29-year-old independent New York finance elite, resents this instrumentalized marriage system but has to marry three diverse men under official and family pressure: obedient househusband Oliver, rebellious righteous boxer Marcus, and wise academic Leo. The three men conflict and compete at first, while Samantha treats them equally. When Marcus faces punishment for protesting unfair gender rules, Samantha defends him publicly. United as a secret alliance, they abandon rigid divisions, challenge the absurd marriage law together, spark nationwide reflection, and gain true love and freedom through equality.
