Story of the series

Harper spent a fortune and waited a full year to have her exclusive incubus, Julian, custom-made. However, Julian was extremely resistant to her and refused any physical contact. Harper intended to observe and fix the problem, but when she took Julian back to her parents’ house, she found him unusually gentle toward her hypocritical stepsister Chloe. It turned out that Julian had fallen in love with Chloe at first sight when he was unboxed.​ Disappointed, Harper applied for a replacement. The new incubus, Oliver, was obedient and thoughtful, directly taking over Julian’s contract. Chloe bought the returned Julian at a low price but abused him constantly because he still cared about Harper. Filled with regret, Julian repeatedly begged Harper to re-bind with him, only to be rejected. In the end, Chloe returned Julian for good. Left uncared for, the unwanted incubus vanished completely, while Harper lived a comfortable life with Oliver.
