STORY

Story of the series

Lena sold her blood to raise the medical bills and returned to the hospital, only to uncover her husband Kelt and the nurse Tiffany's plot: faking his death to defraud insurance, dumping debts and eloping. She threw herself at the 'dead' Kelt, beating him through sobs until he dared not make a sound. Calming down, she announced to donate all his organs. When Tiffany tried to stop her, Lena shut her up: "As his legal wife, I decide his final affairs." And she donated Kelt's kidney to the Governor of Forgeham. Kelt was trapped: opening his eyes would offend the governor, yet staying still would cost him his kidney. On the operating table, Lena ordered the surgery to start without anesthesia, forcing Kelt to open his eyes and expose the lie.
