Pension Battle

The retired elderly couple sends their son a monthly subsidy of 4,000 yuan, yet their daughter-in-law covets their combined monthly pension of 14,000 yuan. She even drafts a written agreement to force the elders to hand over most of their retirement funds. The old couple later accidentally discovers their life savings worth over one million yuan meant for their old age have been swindled away by the daughter-in-law’s entire family. Worse still, their son was coerced into embezzling public funds. In the end, the elders gather solid evidence and press charges, sending the fraudulent daughter-in-law and her relatives to prison.
