After the tsunami destroys the island, David twists the truth, expels her from the shelter, incites the employees to raid her camp, and tricks them into eating poisonous berries—poisoning everyone but himself. Luna defends her camp with a homemade bow and traps. When a wolf pack attacks, Linda finally breaks down and confesses all of David's crimes: the insurance fraud, the murder plot, the lies. Desperate, David sets the forest on fire and is subdued at the seaside. When rescue arrives, everyone testifies against him, and both David and Linda are arrested.
