Story of the series

Slum girl Isla is deceived by the Voss family, who claim she’s their long-lost daughter to sell her to a "monster" duke for $20 million. The "monster" turns out to be Noah, a duke pretending to be wheelchair-bound, who loves her and offers protection. With Noah’s help, Isla uncovers the Voss family’s crimes—human trafficking, murdering her birth mother—and learns she’s the Wilson family’s true heir. They overcome trust issues and dangers, revealing Noah was once trafficked by the Voss family. Finally, the Voss family faces justice, and Isla and Noah resolve all misunderstandings, marrying happily with loved ones’ blessings.
