STORY

Story of the series

After being betrayed and sold by her cruel stepmother to a vile old man, 18-year-old valedictorian Vicky Mendes is rescued by Thor, the cursed God of Thunder. Thor discovers that Vicky is his True Vessel—the only woman who can absorb the deadly lightning killing him. To escape her nightmare, Vicky agrees to a seven-day contract marriage with him.
