The Last Three Wishes

The Last Three Wishes tells the story of Sarah, the last siren princess in the world, who is born with three chances to make wishes to heaven. For the first time, she sacrifices her unborn child and fertility to save her dying lover Arthur. For the second time, she exhausts her lifelong magical power to rescue Arthur’s family from bankruptcy. For the third time, Arthur forces her to use her last wish to save his mistress Emily and her child, and throws her into a men’s prison to be tortured after she refuses.​ In despair, Sarah pays with her life to cast a final curse: all traitors shall be ruined, their families destroyed, and die without a grave. To protect Emily, Arthur tortures Sarah with the Siren Aegis, which she forged from her tail scales and heart blood for him. Arthur’s mother even snatches the siren clan’s heirloom bloodstone bracelet, triggering a fatal backlash.​ After Sarah’s death, the curse takes effect one by one: Arthur learns Emily is married and the child is not his; Arthur’s mother is crippled in a car accident and loses all her fortune; Arthur’s bones shatter and he commits suicide by poison, while his mother jumps off a building to atone. Sarah avenges herself, her soul is freed, and she ascends to heaven, leaving all past grievances behind.
