Twenty-five years after being left at a New York City hospital as a brand new infant, Jacqueline Frost has defied the odds and is now thriving as a young woman. She might not have a lot of friends, or any family, but she has a job she excels at and she’s finally going to get her big break. Cherry picked by her supervisor to present her ideas to the CEO of Vaughan Professional Consulting, she is excited to finally get a chance to play with the big boys. Wilder Vaughn is the CEO of a consulting firm which helps repair the images of screwed up celebrities, athletes and politicians and frankly anyone else who will spend money to make their problems go away with some decent PR tweaking. When one of his directors tells him over and over about the brilliant woman named Jacqueline in his department, he finally agrees to let her pitch to him on a major client. He wished he’d agreed sooner. Jacqueline Frost walks into his office and he immediately knows she’s special. One shake of her hand and the CEO, who also happens to be a prince to the queen of all the Southern Realm fae-folk, finally finds his mate after years of searching for her. The problem? She doesn’t know she’s fae. When Rafferty Vaughn is called to an emergency meeting in his twin brother’s office where he lords over humans like some kind of prick with a superiority complex, he is immediately jealous of the fact his twin found his mate first. Then she walks in and when he introduces himself, a single touch of her hand reveals she is his mate too. The fates are playing an irritating game. Since the king has blamed the Vaughn family all along for the loss of his daughter, the twins are fighting an uphill battle against a woman who thinks they are crazy and a king who wants his daughter to go home with him instead of staying in the human world or with spoiled princes who can’t agree on anything. Jacqueline is freaking out. When her biological family come out of the woodwork, she finds her father is the Jack Frost, her mother apparently suffered some kind of mental break when she was kidnapped as an infant moments after her birth, and she has two siblings who don’t seem to like her very much, despite what they claim. Her boss and his brother are calling her mate. She’d give anything to just let things go back to the way they were. So what does she do? She insists on working with the client she was pitching for and ends up following the troubled skier to a small idyllic town in Colorado to help him fix his image. She doesn’t expect, however, that her two new mates, her entire biological family and the twins’ families to follow her. What ensues is a comedic, romantic, free-for-all where Jacqueline dodges every attempt at everyone trying to seduce her to their side. The seduction of Jac Frost has begun and it’s every man for himself, until someone starts causing trouble and Jacqueline’s life might be on the line. Then it’s a show of solidarity between a group of people who never wanted to work together but they’ll do anything to keep their princess safe. They’re going to have to figure out how to make it all work or they may lose her forever.
