Story of the series
Jace Wilde, son of legendary footballer Arthur Wilde, hides his identity for twelve years after his father was murdered by Alister Sterling, a corrupt tycoon who rigs football matches. Hiding as a ball boy at the Velocity club, Jace’s extraordinary talent is discovered unexpectedly. He strikes a secret deal with Sienna, Alister’s sister, to lead Velocity to the championship and expose Alister’s crimes. Despite severe leg injuries including Grade 3 Achilles rupture and fibular fracture, unfair bribed referees and repeated life threats, Jace fights through every match. In the final, he presents solid evidence of Alister’s bribery, match-fixing and murder in public court. Alister receives life imprisonment without parole. Jace wins the trophy, revenges his father, revives Velocity and finally reunites with the injured club owner Vanessa.
